Welcome to the official website, of sooty, www.thesootyshow.com the sooty show, the official home of sooty, sweep, soo and richard cadell. On our Sooty website you will find lot's of fun things to see and do. There's videos, games, competitions and the Sooty club - which is completley free to join and gives you exclusive access to some really cool members only stuff. Sooty, richard cadell and the gang have been in the news and on television a lot recently, this is because it is Sooty's 60th birthday on 19th July - find out more interesting things about sooty on our sooty history pages. The sooty website will be updated regularly with the sooty show live tour updates, merchandise, and loads of fun things to see and do. Sooty was originally found in Blackpool in 1958 by Harry Corbett who went on to make sooty a household name alomg the way introducing sooty to lots of new friends including Sooty, Sweep and Soo, before Matthew Corbett took over from his dad harry to ensure a whole new generation would grow up with a love of the little bear with black ears Sooty. Now Richard Cadell has become sooty's new right hand man and sooty is once again in his rightful place which is a special place in the hearts of the nation. How many other children's characters have entertained so many generations of children.
